CONTEXT
Tolosa LHII, the center of excellence in mechatronics, was in the process of implementing industrial digitization initiatives. The institution aimed to train its teaching staff in emerging technologies and standardize the management of its advanced equipment, with the dual objective of monitoring the overall consumption of the center and practically training students for future challenges. But the main obstacle was the absence of an integrated tool that would allow them to consolidate scattered data to manage and analyze resources efficiently.
SOLUTION
The response was the implementation of the TOKII digital twins platform, with a 3D digital replica of the educational center, enriched with tags, navigation hotspots, and interactive visualizations. This unified environment allows for historical analysis and real-time monitoring of multiple sources of information, such as teachers' Excel files, Odoo, the Fagor platform, even solar panels and bicycle parking, thus simplifying the overall management of resources.
RESULT
TOKII has allowed them to centralize all data in a single environment. They can now detect patterns through historical analysis and perform much more effective real-time monitoring. Thanks to the permission management system, each department only accesses the information relevant to its area. Additionally, the indicators of energy efficiency and sustainability provide a clear view to optimize consumption and improve decision-making.
Furthermore, they have created a roadmap to scale the twin to student use through the No-Code ML Lab module. Thanks to it, students will be able to carry out practical exercises with real data and train predictive algorithmic models without the need for programming knowledge, thus helping them take their first steps into the world of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence.
