CONTEXT

Three vocational training centers: Agrupamento de Escolas da Caparica, AE Daniel Sampaio, and Agrupamento de Escolas João de Barros, were looking for a tool that could provide an interactive environment for carrying out practical exercises in artificial intelligence and advanced analytics, without requiring programming skills. Through our partner, the Portuguese technology center HST Service Providers, we were able to address the challenge of empowering both students and teachers by enabling them to create and solve exercises while fostering critical thinking in the field of analytics. To achieve this, a modern solution was needed, one capable of training the next generation of professionals.

The digital twin platform TOKII was implemented, an immersive and gamified environment that allows students to practice in a safe setting. Thanks to the No-Code ML module, an innovative technology for training predictive algorithms without programming, students can take their first steps in AI and advanced analytics in an accessible way. At the same time, teachers have access to an intuitive 3D editor and a control panel to design exercises, assign tasks, and provide personalized tracking of each student’s progress.

RESULT

With TOKII, students are introduced to artificial intelligence and analytics in an accessible way, experiencing firsthand how their decisions impact the project. This approach fosters collaboration among students and encourages critical thinking in decision-making. TOKII is scalable and adaptable to different disciplines, offering teachers a flexible tool to create new exercises and monitor each student’s progress.
